Internet Explorer - Difficulty launching applications

If you use Internet Explorer to access your HarborCloud account, sometimes you may see a prompt to open or save a .ica file from your browser or encounter some other message when launching applications.

Please configure some of Internet Explorer's options to fix these issues:

  1. Click on the gear icon IE_-_Gear_icon.png in the upper-right of Internet Explorer Tools menu
  2. Select Internet options
  3. In the Internet Options window, select the Security tab
  4. Click on the green Trusted sites checkmark icon and then click the Sites button
  5. Enter https://citrix.ourhostedcloud.com in the Add this website to the zone field, click Add, and then close the Trusted sites window
  6. Go to the Privacy tab and click the Sites button
  7. Enter ourhostedcloud.com in the Address of website field, click Allow, and then click OK to close the Per Site Privacy Actions window
  8. Click OK to close the Internet Options window

Additionally, we recommend adding our site to Internet Explorer's Compatibility View.

  1. Click on the gear icon IE_-_Gear_icon.png in the upper-right of Internet Explorer Tools menu
  2. Select Compatibility View settings
  3. Choose to add ourhostedcloud.com to the list of Websites you've added to Compatibility View
  4. Click Close to close the Compatibility View Settings window

You will then need to restart Internet Explorer for these changes to take effect. After restarting your web browser, log back into HarborCloud and you should be able to launch your applications without issue.
